Lyrica (Pregabalin) is an anticonvulsant used to help and relieve certain types of nerve pain or seizures. It is useful for the treatment of nerve pain due to diabetic neuropathy and post herpetic neuralgia. Lyrica capsule contains an active ingredient which is used to treat epilepsy.
Generic Lyrica may also be marketed as: Pregabalin, Lyrica.

Lyrica (Generic) works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain, thus helping to relieve nerve pain and seizures. As Pregabalin stabilizes electrical nerve activity, it can also be used to treat pain that occurs as a result of damage to or a disturbance in the function of nerves (neuropathic pain). It is used for peripheral neuropathic pain, i.e. nerve pain in the hands, legs or feet, or central neuropathic pain, e.g.: as a result of a spinal cord injury.
